Fearless Scoundrels is a UK Midlands based band that plays original, self-penned, songs in the style of Boogie, Blues and Rock’n’Roll, but with a twist of humour and a whole bunch of energy. The band is made up of four very accomplished and experienced musicians and has been playing the Midlands pub, club and festival circuit for the past 10 years.
At the beginning of 2024 the band decided to
broaden it’s horizons and take the show to a
wider audience by focussing on the blues clubs
and communities up and down the UK.
The set list is an eclectic mix of traditional blues,
boogie blues, rock blues and country blues, all
played with enthusiasm and spirit. The live show
is geared up to entertain the audience with a
balance of serious song performance and
not-so-serious, between song banter.
The Band
Bernie Wratten - Guitar and Vocals - As a teenager, Bernie played the social clubs and holiday parks along the south coast of the England before moving to the Midlands and becoming one of the UK’s finest blues guitarist.
Phil Down - Bass Guitar and Vocals - A regular on the Midlands rock and blues circuit for the past 40+ years, Phil has shared the stage with some of the UK’s finest musicians, including non-other than the legendary, Keith Moon.
Dave Matthews - Guitar and Vocals - Dave is an experienced musician and song writer, who was signed to Carrere Records and regularly featured on The Tommy Vance Friday Night Rock Show, on BBC Radio One.
Terry Boazman - Drums - Terry is a veteran of the Midlands music scene with more than 40 years of gigging and recording experience.
